LEE KUM KEE Celebrates 123rd Anniversary

When it comes to Chinese sauces there’s only one product that I highly recommend, Lee Kum Kee! It has been in the market for 123 years giving superior quality products to every home. In celebration of their 123rd year, on August 27 and 28 a grand Cooking demo with the Masters held at the Shangri-La Plaza Mall were mall-goers, media and bloggers attended. Chef Eugene Raymundo and Chef Sandy Daza shared their culinary expertise and their skills specially created Lee Kum Kee Recipes for the second leg of the weekend cooking festival.
The cooking extravaganza started off with a great start with renowned food stylist Chef Eugene, showing us how easy it is to prepare something special for our loved ones. To the delight of the audience, he shared three amazing recipes.

His mouthwatering demonstration included recipes for an Oriental  Crab Cake Salad with Premium Oyster Sauce and the Lee Kum Kee soup base for seafood hot pot. He also shared how to cook Spicy Honey Pork Ribs with Oriental Sauce for Pork Chop.

On the second day of the event, guest were treated to another cooking demo from one of the most renowned Chefs in the Philippine Culinary scene. We learned many scrumptious recipes, tips and kitchen secrets from this Master Chef. Chef Sandy Daza returns to the Cook with the Master kitchen and amazed the audience with his quick and easy Lee Kum Kee recipes.

As the chef, shared the step by step process of the recipe, they also guided the demo participants as the cook with the masters. In return, they bring home the dish they cooked and received gift pack from Lee Kum Kee.

Guests of the cooking festival also had a lot of fun as they participated in the various activities like the interactive booth area called Lee Kitchen. Participants got the chance to enjoy hands-on experience of the products. The area was divided into three sections; the History Wall showcasing Lee Kum Kee’s heritage. Second is the tasting area with variety of dips and sauces. Lastly, participants took home lovely photo souvenir wearing Lee Kum Kee apron and holding their favorite Lee Kum Kee products. Well, I will just post my photo on our Facebook Fan Page. At the end of interactive area, each received a cool prizes.
