I just found out that I already have a lot of eco-bags which I got from different events and those I bought every time I forgot to bring one during my trip to the grocery. The use of durable eco-bag promotes environmental friendliness. It’s available in different colors and design that fits your mood and style. With eco-bags it limits us from using plastic bags.
Few months ago SM Supermalls officially opened the search for best SM eco bag design. High-school and college students from Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao and Metro Manila participated to get into the mainstream of environmental preservation and sustainability.
Design was based on the four elements of nature: air, earth, fire and water and had relevance with the theme of "Art of Sustainability."
The much awaited announcement of winners was held at SM North EDSA The Block last November 12 hosted by Miss. Maxene Magalona. Four winners received P25,000 and an iPad 3 each. The winners school also received P25,000 that will go towards the school's environmental projects.
