This street food has become part of our rich culture and even associates precious memories with. In the morning, we would wait for taho vendor.

Filipino Streetfood at SM Hypermarket’s Streetfood Festival

With over 40 booths of delicious food and irresistible deals, celebrity appearances, refreshing cooking demos, a 100,000 shopping spree, and a lot more, the SM Hypermarket Streetfood Festival Grand Finale was indeed a huge success. Having successfully showcased the rich street food culture of the Philippines in SM Fairview, SM Valenzuela, SM Bicutan, and SM Molino, SM Hypermarket saves the best for last in their Streetfood Festival Grand Finale at SM Mall of Asia (MOA). The food event that thousands have indulged in cooks up a finale that retains its winning ingredients of food, discounts, freebies, and demos while adding more spice to the already superb mix.

During the SM Streetfood Grand Finale, I got to sampled some of the Philippine's specialty dishes from SM Eats, Cebu Lechon Belly, and Southern Dairy. The well-known foodie paradise, Baga Manila, joins the event bringing, not only grilled Pinoy delights but also American burgers, Japanese sushi and tempura, Vietnamese spring rolls, Korean bibimbab, Mexican nachos and tacos, Mediterranean steaks, Middle-Eastern shawarma, US pancakes, desserts, and a lot more. Celebrity chefs will also be at the event to demo how to cook different dishes ranging from impressive potlucks to easy-to-make merienda for the kids. The Streetfood Festival Grand Finale will also draw the lucky winner of P100,000 shopping spree at SM Hypermarket.
