How many of us still read a book? I love how e-books and downloadable materials are easily accessible. I can just store everything in my device and just click anytime I want read them. But there's something about books, I still prefer it over electronic ones.

Just in case you're looking for new books to read, don't miss the 39th Manila International Book Fair happening from today until Sunday, September 16 at the SMX Convention Center. OMF Lit, the leading publisher and distributor of Christian books in the Philippines releases new books to help readers Turn to the Word at the MIBF 2018.



If you're a parent, sibling, or just looking for inspiration, "More than Most: The Story of Courageous Caitie" by Feliz Lucas will be launched this coming Sunday. Caitie is a three-year girl who battled juvenile leukemia. Her stories of pain, suffering, hope, and love touched millions of people on social network. I hope you can drop by and support this book launch on Sunday.

The "More than Most: The Story of Courageous Caitie" takes readers on a journey of faith and pain. Aside from this book, book lovers can expect from OMF Literature new books filled with inspiration, instruction, and insight.

Gone? written by Grace Chong and illustrated by Koi Carreon. This children’s book tackles the wonders of  a child’s imagination and creativity

Sandosenang Sapatos Premium Edition written by Luis Gatmaitan and illustrated by Beth Parrocha. The children’s book classic comes in a bigger edition that is good for storytelling. The edition also includes a study guide and the author’s account of the journey which the book has so far taken.

These books and many others more will be available at the OMF Lit booth at Aisle I at the SMX Convention Center from September 12-16, 10AM-8PM. Also at the MIBF is Hiyas, the children’s book imprint of OMF Lit. Hiyas, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary is at the 2F of SMX.

  1. book lover ako and nung college eto mga inaabangan ko haha pero madalas ung mga book sale sa warehouse sinusugod ko. Suki din ako ng book sale sa may Makati Square noon i dunno if andun pa sila . After having kids nabawasan na ang time ko for that but i do encourage my kiddo to read a lot. there is something i kean happiness when reading a book and storing them😊 More on inspirational ako and books na more on fiction na. Pero i read anything naman basta may matutunan din. Sana makapunta 🤗

    1. I wanted to go there too but typhoon Ompong came. Like you, I also like inspirational books and read them before going to bed or early morning.
