7101 Music Nation launches ‘2nd Elements National Singing-Songwriting Camp’

Music rejuvenates my body and soul, I wasn’t born with a good singing voice and don’t even know how to play any musical instrument but I appreciate music at an early age. I am one of the million fans of OPM artists like the Apo Hiking Society, Gary Valenciano, Freestyle, Jed Madela, The Company, Regine Velasquez, Basil Valdez and MYMP among others. My friends tells me that I can even join a game like “name that song” or “fill in the blanks” for I also memorized the lyrics. At home, I have a very good sound system which gives me extreme satisfaction listening to OPM favorites. Still, the truth is I really can’t sing. I always envy those who are blessed with such talent and now here’s a good news to all talented singers and songwriters!

After the great success of last year’s songwriting camp, 7101 now opens the door not only for aspiring songwriters but also for  singers as they launched the “2nd ELEMENTS National Singing-Songwriting Camp”. This will be your chance to show your talents and meet our music aficionados and country’s top performing artists.

Kate Torralba – aside from being a fashion designer she has been blessed with great singing voice. I was mesmerized listening to her song, “PICTURES”. Her childhood dream of singing and performing came true when she joined the camp. Kate TorralbaQ-YORK – Q-York stands for “Quality – Yields Our Richest Key” DJ Flava Matikz (Producer/DJ) & MC Knowa Lazarus (MC/Songwriter), a rap duo who came all the way from the New York to join the camp. I was actually enjoying myself shouting YUOY with their energetic performances “YUOY”, a combination of two well-known expressions “Yo!” (America) and “Hoy!” as Tagalog word.
