Caffe Ti-Amo

No comments:

A tall glass of smoothie seems so inviting especially during this summer time. While some of us trying to limit hot coffee I personally can't do that. Good thing, this coffee shop offers two of my comfort food (coffee and ice cream) in one exciting drink, Affogato.

Caffe Ti-Amo, a South Korean Franchise brought to the Philippines by Jollibee Food Corporation. This coffee shop offers Gelato in wide variety of flavors like Tiramisu, Vanilla, Coffee, Dark Chocolate, Green tea, Yogurt,  Mango, Caramel, Blueberry, Strawberry, Choco Mint and Dulche de leche.

Gelato, Italy's version of ice cream. But gelato is smoother in texture and more creamier, it has lower  fat content than regular ice cream.

Tiramisu Caffelato Frappe -  coffee based frappe blended with Tiramisu Gelato topped with Whipped Cream and Chocolate syrup. It brings a burst of flavorful pleasure to the palate especially this summer time. Nice drink to cool down.

Tiramisu Caffelato Frappe

Tiramisu Gelato on blended coffee matched together, creating the right sweetness. I had the tallest size (Grande) at p135, I also enjoyed scooping the remaining whipped cream.

Caffe Ti-Amo's bestseller, AFFOGATO - hot espresso topped with vanilla or tiramisu gelato. The gelato has cashew nuts on top with the espresso poured slowly over the gelato right in front of you. I wasn't able to take a photo of espresso, the server needs to poured it immediately to prevent  from what he called "espresso bad shot".

Drink it before the gelato melts down.

Now, this is an Ice Cream Float! Isn't it?

Affogato

At first I thought I wouldn't like it but I love the taste! It's worth trying! You may scoop it or drink it what ever you like. Nice look, Gelato drowned in hot espresso! It's deliciously different having the comfort of ice cream and the richness of espresso.

Enjoy your Affogato using this cute spoon

Caffe Ti-Amo has a nice interior as well; modern style brick-walled, chairs and tables arranged so that customers seat comfortably and enjoy their stay.

They offer Coffee-free and Coffee-based Frappe, Italian Gelato and Gelato Specials, Hot Chocolates and Tea Blends, Coffee and Espresso. Cheesecake and Waffle are also available.

Group Photo with Caffe Ti-Amo's friendly staff and Supervisor, Mr. Wendell.

Relax and enjoy Caffelato with a friend or loved one or simply bring back the memories of your childhood with a scoop of Gelato.

La Immaculada Concepcion Church - Sta Maria, Bulacan

2 comments:
I've been staying in Sta Maria for quite sometime now, yet this is just the second time I visit the La Immaculada Concepcion Church. I grew up attending Sunday masses at The Shrine of Mary, Queen of Peace, I don't know why I just feel the solemnity and peace inside the shrine.  When I started living here in Sta Maria, visiting the EDSA Shrine has becoming very seldom. A newly built chapel inside the subdivision offered anticipated mass every Saturday at 6pm. Since then, I decided to attend celebration of the mass here.

I haven't explore Sta Maria that much and I am thinking of doing it in the future. Aside from resorts and local products (Chicharon, Pastillas, Sweet Preserves) the town of Sta Maria, Bulacan has an old, remodeled church located in Poblacion.

Parish Church of La Immaculada Concepcion is also know as the Church of Pandi.

La Immaculada Concepcion Parish Church was built in 1613 and was destroyed during the Chinese uprising in 1639. It was rebuilt and completed in 1669. Church of Pandi was founded on 1792. The earthquake of 1880 damaged the church and the convent and was reconstructed in early 19th century.

Bulakenyos come here every Sunday primarily because Sta Maria is just near the municipalities of Bocaue, Angat, Dona Remedios Trinidad, Malolos, Marilao, Meycauayan and Pandi.

At the right side of the church is a little garden and a place for the Stations of the Cross.

The Altar with the Blessed Eucharist and the image of Our Lady of Immaculate Concepcion

Outside is a Replica of the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes is situated.

A Slice of Pizza & A Piece of Cake

1 comment:
Who can't resist New York Style Thin-Crust Pizzas with melted mozzarella on top are beef pepperoni, Italian beef sausage, fresh green peppers, mushrooms and onions?

It was quite a bad day for me, I was contemplating about few issues in life. Walking inside a big mall in QC  I passed by Sbarro Restaurant  & immediately got tempted with the smell of their Pizzas.

This Italian Restaurant usually becomes busy during weekends, holidays, Mall Sales & pay days. Though there were few customers during that time, I immediately place an order and bring home a Slice of Supreme New York Style Thin-Crust Pizza so I can enjoy it while studying.

Variety to choose from: New York Style Thin-Crust, Specialty New York like White Pizza, Pan/Deep Dish Pizzas to Specialty Stuffed Pizza.

A Box of Pizza Slice

Supreme Pizza for dinner and the dessert...

 yummy.....

Aside from their mouth-watering Pizzas, Calzone, Fresh Salads and Pasta, I also like their Cheesecake. It's soft, smooth, deliciously  topped with Blueberries. Next time I'll try their Strawberry Cheesecake.
While enjoying dessert, I realized..Life is like that.. "A Piece of Cake".

After all, I deserve to have a delicious meal.

"Pasalubong" from a Friend - ROYCE’ Chocolate

1 comment:
Mmm Chocolate.....It is very usual to receive chocolate from our family and friends abroad. It may be Toblerone , M&M , Kisses or Cadbury. But a friend came over from Singapore for a short vacation and I am thankful for the "pasalubong" she gave me, Royce' Chocolate.

I can no longer remember the last time I have Royce'...I am a chocolate lover and brand names don't matter to me. My personal favorites are the dark chocolate and those with fruits and nuts. Chocolate may not be the most  healthy snack around but it can boost one's mood and makes us feel good. Just remember to eat in moderate amount and learn to control your craving, it's true chocolates are irresistible.

That's me enjoying the Chocolate Fountain!

Japan's chocolates are one of the best sweets in the whole world. Do you agree?

Royce Chocolate originates in Hokkaido, Japan in 1983 producing different chocolates like Nama Chocolate, Amande Chocolat, Pure Chocolate, Macadamia Chocolates, Petite Truffle to Royce Collection. Whatever it maybe, Royce will definitely give us the high quality and real good tasting chocolates.

I was surprised she handed over to me this paper bag with two products of Royce Chocolate.

Royce' Almond Chocolate Bar

It has rich and smooth texture, and as expected it has real high quality ingredients. Sorry if I wasn't able to take a photo of it , I usually forgot to do it every time I get excited to taste it.

Royce' Amande Milk Chocolat

If you love Almonds, this one is for you. It has thick milk chocolate coating. It doesn't easily melt and taste really good. Smells delicious and you can't resist until you finish the last piece. The gold strip serves as a name tag  and a resealable tape.

It was on December 2008 when the very first shop open here in our country & it was in the Power Plant Mall., Makati. Now there are few  Royce' shops  in Metro Manila. A chocolate bar ranges from p250 and up.

For some of us, Royce' chocolate might be too expensive but It would be nice to treat ourselves with these delicious chocolates once in a while.

Authentic French Bread & Pastries at Paris Délice

No comments:

Me & my friend, Ms. V dine at Paris Delice on a busy late afternoon, just after office hours. The restaurant is situated in a busy area somewhere in Makati Avenue where there are lots of restaurants and fast-food chains. Just beside a popular Filipino fast-food is this classy French restaurant that offers breads and pastries made in France.

I got fascinated with the interiors, French touch fast food? Fast-food because you'll have your order in just few minutes at a very affordable price. With a comfortable chairs and tables, quiet and relaxing ambiance to dine-in, wifi available to keep your status updated, " relaxing and enjoying my cup of Coffee and Quiches here in Paris" ;  best of all, it offers freshly baked healthy sandwiches all at reasonable prices, Paris Délice is an example of a modern, classy fast-food restaurant.

French bread, pastries, sandwiches, quiches and salads - all healthy, all at reasonable prices. All breads & pastries imported from Paris.

We haven't decided what to have for dine-in and just noticed ourselves quickly ordering what to bring home.

After placing our order we found ourselves sitting on their comfortable chairs and enjoying the atmosphere.

Croque Monsieur (p115), Grilled Ham and Cheese - the name sounds interesting! At first look, I thought it was just an ordinary tasty bread with the usual ham and cheese inside but I just smile to myself because I started to love it on my first bite, very flavorful and tasty.  A hot dish with cheese and butter on top, melted cheese and ham inside. A must try again and again!

I love cake & it's always present on every  desserts I ordered. With my excitement, I almost forgot to take a photo and immediately cut a bite size of this Banana Chocolate Cake (p55). It 's heavy, a slice made me full! It's not too sweet having the chocolate cream on the sides.

Other pastries I ordered:

Triangle aux Amandes  (p85) - fresh, flaky pastry with rich creamy almond filling. Compared to other Almond Pastry from other bakeshops that usually has bits of Almonds, Triange aux Amandes has rich heavenly almond filling. This is another authentic pastry from France.

Pain au Chocolat (p60) - Tempting!  I love the chocolate inside.

Quiches

Aside from breads and pastries, Paris Delice also serves Hot Dishes and Soup, Cookies, Hot/Iced Drinks & Coffee.

Desserts, Soda, other beverages and Fresh Salads in this counter.

We had another Pain au Chocolat for take out. My friend ordered Hawaiian Sandwich (with Forest Ham, Emmental cheese, mayonnaise and pineapples ). She said " super yummy Ham Sandwich with tasty ham, melted cheese in crispy delicious French Bread. "

Paris Délice, Paris Delicious!
