It’s amazing I witnessed three consecutive Saturdays of this year’s Pyromusical Competition in SM Mall of Asia.

It was my first time to cover this event and as I’ve said on Day 1, I hope I could make it until March 17 wherein Italy and our country Philippines will present.

The first competitor last February 25 is from OY Pyroman Finland, Ltd. With over 15 years in the business and a forerunner in the field, their projects include Eurovision 2010 OSLO, Vancouver Olympic Games, SOCHI Part, Canada 2010, Eurovision 2009 in Moscow, Eurovision 2008 in Belgradem Eurovision 2007 Helsinki and the Nightwish World Tour 2007-2009.

Finland has more instrumental melodramatic songs compared to Portugal which incorporates and used upbeat, popular songs from the yesteryears like Great Balls of Fire, Let’s Twist Again, The Beatle’s Can’t Buy Me Love. The Rolling Stone’s I Can’t Get No among others.

Here’s my video coverage of Finland’s Pyromusical presentation.

The second competitor that night is Grupo Luso Pirotecnia from the Portuguese Republic. Their awards are: 2nd Prize in Japan’s 2nd International Competition Huis Tem Bosch Pyrotechnician 2010, 3rd Prize in Portugal’s Festival Do Atlantico 2010 and 1st Place in Frances’s International Fireworks Festival in Cannes.

Here is my recording of Portugal’s Pyromusical Video

Don’t miss this Pyromusical Presentation this coming Saturday, March 3 witness the Defending Champion of this competition, People’s Republic of China’s Liuyang Jinsheng Fireworks Co. Ltd.

Let us be marveled as music and fireworks come together with a Pyromusical presentation from China and Netherlands on March 3 in SM Mall of Asia. For more information, check out the other Pyromusical schedule here.

Did you watch the day 1 and 2 of Pyromusical? If not, why don’t you visit my bog post Day 1 Korea vs. Malta and Day 2 UK vs. Spain.

How about you, what can you say about Finland and Portugal’s Pyromusical presentation?
