Breakfast Rush at Tempura

This trip to Tempura Japanese Grill along Ayala Avenue was actually a breakfast rush after meeting a friend to taste her home made cupcakes. That day we had, Gyu Hamburg Curry for me and Gyuniku Teriyaki for Grace.

The Gyu Hamburg Curry (Php99) is a Hamburger Pattie with curry sauce, potatoes, carrots and corn served with scrambled egg and fried rice. The curry sauce is not too spicy compared to curry’s I’m familiar with. It has a brown color sauce which is different with the yellow-colored curry sauce we usually see with Chicken curry. For only Php99, this is actually an affordable breakfast meal served with coffee.

While having my breakfast I remember the Chicken Curry I had few years ago in Hong Kong at the same building where I took the Nursing State Board Exam. It was really spicy but flavorful and the serving can be shared by two. It was delicious!

Grace had Gyuniku Teriyaki (Php99), I know she will order this one because Teriyaki is one of her favorite. It could be in a pita pocket bread, or just anything with Teriyaki, my best friend will always try it.  She said, she liked it! The beef is tender and sauce is flavorful.

I wanted to stay longer and have an additional orders of ebi Tempura and gyoza but since we still have to go to Paranaque, it all ended up with this Breakfast rush. Our meals was served with a glass of iced tea.
