A Perfect Companion To Any Starbucks Beverage–The New Starbucks Salad

 

Mediterranean Tuna Salad

Recently I was invited to the launch of Starbucks New Salads, high-quality salads at a great value. Starbucks salads are made from premium ingredients, all natural,  that are great for lunch dinner or anytime of the day.

Southern Chicken Salad

Southern Chicken Salad – made with all-natural chicken, diced celery, onions, hard boiled eggs, pickled relish, and roasted chopped cashew on assorted greens then sprinkled with Pecorino cheese. Served with whole wheat bagel crostini, basic, light but full of flavors!

Mediterranean Tuna Salad

Mediterranean Tuna Salad – Mediterranean flavored salad spotlights tuna (rich in omega 3 fatty acid) mixed with chopped artichoke, red bell peppers, sliced olives and onions on a bed of assorted greens then sprinkled with Pecorino cheese. Served with wheat bagel crostini.

The verdict – simply delicious, it has very nice balance of flavors.

Cold Chicken Soba Salad

Cold Chicken Soba Salad p140 – lightly dressed with black sesame soy dressing and has delicious compliments of chicken strips, meaty strips of shitake mushroom, crunchy strips of carrots and julienned onion leeks on a bed of assorted greens.

A cold soba in a delicious sesame soy dressing is something new to me. Soba that is usually served as a noodle soup in a bowl was made into something different, flavored with sweet and delicious sesame soy dressing, light in flavor heavy on your tummy!

Moroccan Chicken Couscous Salad

Moroccan Chicken Couscous Salad p140 – a hearty cold couscous that is bursting with Moroccan spices, juicy chicken strips, snow peas, sautéed chopped tomatoes, onions and fresh strips of red bell pepper on a bed of assorted greens tossed in a lemon dill yogurt dressing.

Among the four, the Mediterranean Tuna Salad and Southern Chicken Salad are my personal favorites, I find the Moroccan Chicken Couscous and Chicken Soba Salad interesting though.

I highly recommend Starbucks salads for breakfast, lunch or dinner even if you’re not really hungry but needs something light to eat.
