Tomorrow marks the 4th Habitat For Humanity Youth Built. Thousands of young people in multiple countries across the region will simultaneously build or repair homes for lower-income families.

Four out of ten Filipino families do not own their house, some have no decent shelter while many are striving to pay the rent. Habitat Youth BUILD is a movement that brings together the youth to fund-raise and help advocate by spreading awareness of the poverty housing situation in the Asia-Pacific region where according to the United Nations, one in eight individuals live in slums.

Last year's successful Habitat Youth BUILD's 2014 campaign, over 33 million people was made aware of the event through various social media and online platforms - up 120 per cent from 2012 - and over 111,000 people built and repaired homes and took part in poverty housing awareness- raising activities - up from 5,000 volunteers the year before. This annual campaign is now on its 4th year in the Philippines with a goal of mobilizing 2,300 volunteers in 5 various Habitat site.  This 2015, Habitat aims to duplicate the success with a bigger and better Habitat Youth BUILD and I am asking your help if you would enable us to achieve this endeavor. Together let's serve millions across the continent who are in dire need of decent housing.
