Updating Your Home Appliances

It's been more than a year now when we started using an Android TV. I personally like it's functionality. We enjoy late night and weekend movie marathons. It's also with my Android TV that I started doing cardio exercises following steps and routines on YouTube.

TCL unveiled its new line of televisions at PBA Cafe in Ortigas few weeks ago. The brand also invited PBA personalities, Rafi Reavis, Ranidel De Ocampo, and Cyrus Baguio to grace the event.

Here are the newest home appliances from TCL

  • Cityline Series

Available in 75, 55, and 49-inch models. It has 4K UHD resolution, and features like HDR Pro and Wide Color Gamut (WCG) complemented with front-facing Harman Kardon speakers and Dolby Audio with Smart Volume function. The C2 television comes with Android M so you can install content including games, music, and movies from the Google Play Store. With built-in Chromecast feature users can view content in full quality to the C2 from their mobile devices.
  • Popular Series P3

This 49-inch P3 television boasts a 400R curved screen that features a wide viewing angle with Natural Light Engine 2.0 which reduces consumer eye strain. It has TCL’s latest backlight LED technology and front-facing Dolby Audio speakers. In addition to that is the TCL App Store which makes the P3 a Smart TV filled with 300 applications for videos-on-demand, social media, music, and gaming.
  • XESS Series X3

The X3 combines Quantum Dot (QD), HDR Pro, and Micro Dimming technologies on its edgeless screen framed by its 6.9mm ultra slim curved body.  It also has Harman Kardon speakers and Dolby Audio for that studio-level audio experience.

Apart from the high-end televisions, TCL also unveiled the latest air conditioner collection – the KE Inverter Split Type Air Conditioner Series.

La Germania: Kitchen helper then and now

I've been wanting to get a La Germania oven for so long. When I was still single, I would tell myself it's not yet time to get one. Then I got married and still can't decide what type of oven should I get. Should I let my regular La Germania stove retire? For those who know me, knows that I love to cook. Even with my single stove La Germania, I created so many dishes my husband, family and friends enjoyed each time they would visit.

Why La Germania? Well, it's been in the market for several years. I've known it through my parents and grandparents. Aside from that, I wanted to learn how to bake cake and pastries, which I haven't done yet.

Recently, La Germania hosted a lunch event at the homey Guevarra's restaurant along P. Guevarra in San Juan. The brand partnered with power-couple chefs Laudico and Jackie. This special lunch gathering was hosted by Suzi Abrera.

With its Italian heritage, which can be traced to its principal Bertazzoni, La Germania products have been meticulously engineered to be tough enough to withstand the constant grind of the modern Filipino kitchen. Manufactured locally by General Heat Corporation under the trademark La Germania, by virtue of a licensing agreement between Bertazzoni SPA of Italy, La Germania stoves, range ovens, range hoods, cookers and accessories are prized by families and professional kitchens for their longevity, mileage, superior quality and performance.  It is also distributed in the Philippines alongside its sister brands Bertazzoni La Germania and Bertazzoni.

I believe La Germania is one of the kitchen helpers most Filipino families have. Do you think it's time for me to get one as well? Do you have any recommendation for the type or model of La Germania cooking range?
