Why You Should Not Miss the SM Street Food Festival

My grocery trip to SM Hypermarket will not be complete without passing by the hair care section. I've been on a look out for Tesco products for the Curly Girl Method in SM North branch. Aside from Tesco conditioner, other CG-approved hair products I usually purchase in SM Hypermarket are Suave Aloe and Waterlily, Luat, V05, Keraplus deep conditioner, Bench Hair Fix strong and Grips gels.

On my recent trip to the supermarket I already saw the much-awaited SM Street Food Festival banner. This big gathering is also special to me. Last year, I invited ten of my blog readers to join me at the SM Street Food Fest for an afternoon of street food, games and learned new recipes from the cooking demo. They went home full and happy with the loot bags from Woman in Digital.

The Biggest Street Food Festival is Coming Up!

When it comes to food, bigger is always better. Bigger bites mean fuller flavor. Bigger servings also mean more people can enjoy. And with street food representing all the flavors of Pinoy culture for barely a buck, everything must really be in BIG servings.

The biggest gathering of the best of Pinoy street food and the top food brands of the Philippines come together for the SM Hypermarket’s Street Food Festival 2019.

Make sure to avail of the huge promos on favorites Knorr, Maggi, Purefoods, Alaska, Bounty Fresh, CDO, Century, Del Monte, Farm Fresh, Mekeni, and Joy. Stalls and booths are guaranteed to be filled with super sulit bundled packs, amazing freebies, and huge discounts bringing absolute value to everyone’s shopping money.

What’s more, the event features an overloaded cast of legendary street food; SM’s Turon with Langka, Bulacan’s best eats from Bulacan Lugaw Kitchen, the leader in Mediterranean fast food Khaleb Shawarma, Bagnet perfection by Super Bagnet, extra special Gloria’s Goto, the major flavor Sgt. Sisig, indulgent Sam’s Everything on Sticks, extra cheesy Ate Rica’s Bacsilog, the isaw that got Katipunan shookt, Mang Larry’s and a whole lot more.

SM Hypermarket Street Food Festival 2019 also features a flurry of celebrity appearances with Ruru
Madrid and Derrick Monasterio at the forefront. There’s a lot of instagrammable spots with giant street food displays too courtesy of Lakbay Museo.

But what definitely steals the show is the ceremonial cutting of world-renowned Chef Boy Logro’s 8-foot SM Markets Turon with Langka, SM Markets’ pride, that officially kicks off this year’s festival. Catch the SM Hypermarket Street Food Festival 2019 in eight SM Malls launching at SM Mall of Asia on August 9 followed by SM City Fairview on Aug 10-11, SM City Baliwag on Aug 17-18, SM City Clark on Aug 30-31, SM Center Pulilan on Sept 6-7, SM Center Muntinlupa on Sept 20-21, SM City Molino on Sept 27-28, and back at SM Mall of Asia for the grand finale on Oct 5-6.

I've been attending the SM Hypermarket’s Street Food Festival every year. It just keeps getting bigger and better every year. See you at the SM Street Food Festival.
