Yoshinoya’s Signature Dishes

Beef Gyudon for my friend and  Jumbo Plate C for me, don’t forget my gyoza plus two large Red Tea please!” remembering how I used to order our favorite meal in Yoshinoya.

Yoshi Chicken

It’s been a while since I last dine at Yoshinoya. I don’t know why but for sure it’s more of a personal reason besides I don’t eat outside more often but spends most of my time in a coffee shop.

After few months, here I am at Yoshinoya Robinsons Galleria to attend the launch of Yoshinoya’s signature dishes.

If you’re a fan of Yoshinoya, get ready for their latest offering.

Yoshinoya’s Tokyo Chicken

A complete meal with meat and veggie, Yoshinoya’s Tokyo Chicken.

I love Tokyo Chicken with golden brown pieces of grilled chicken, fillet marinated in ginger – based sauce, topped with a special sauce and served with mixed vegetables over steaming white rice.

Pork Tonkatsu

I seldom order pork Tonkatsu afraid that the meat is not tender. So to avoid getting disappointed I’ll have chicken or fish Tonkatsu instead except in Yoshinoya where pork is tender, not bland and most of all it’s not oily.

Pork Tonkatsu (P129) deep fried breaded pork fillet topped with a special Tonkatsu sauce, served with cabbage siding over steaming white rice.

Veggie Beef

Yoshinoya’s Beef Gyudon is flavorful and meat is tender isn’t it? I’m pretty sure that  Yoshinoya customers keep coming back for Gyudon beef. I’m glad they launched the Veggie beef, our favorite beef gyudon served with mixed vegetables.

Veggie Beef (P109) has tender slices of beef simmered with fresh sliced onions in a special broth of herbs and spices, served with mixed vegetables on the side on a bed of steaming white rice.

Tokyo Beef

Tokyo Beef (P129). Don’t be confuse with Veggie Beef and Tokyo beef. The latter has tender slices of beef with fresh sliced onions sautéed into perfection, garnished with sesame seeds and capsicum slices over steaming white rice.

Yoshi Chicken

Yoshi Chicken is deep fried, double coated marinated chicken dipped in a special sauce served with steaming rice.

You might think it taste like Bon Chon Chicken but no it’s not! Or maybe you should try it yourself. Yoshi Chicken

Chicken Tempura

Chicken (above) and Pork Tempura (P149 each) has breaded chicken chunks with a sweet potato and eggplant on top steaming white rice served with a special tendon sauce.

Pork Tempura

Shrimp Tempura

Presenting, my favorite Shrimp Tempura (P149)! I like Yoshinoya’s Tempura, the flavor of shrimp, vegetable or meat remains inside a mild batter.

Shrimp Tempura crispy golden brown white prawn and deep fried garnished with a special tendon sauce.

With Yoshinoya’s new rice bowls, for sure I’ll be staying longer at the counter to place an order.

The signature dishes are now available at all Yoshinoya branches!
