Keep Calm & Have a Relaxing Massage!

BlueWater Day Spa

It's a special day for me and my sister Tina so we thought of spending the afternoon with a relaxing massage. She just celebrated her birthday and I felt grateful for all the blessings that came.

The first quarter of the year was quite stressful. Hubby  just had a series of laser treatment and gas bubble injection to treat retinal detachment on his left eye. During the process, I became his left eye. I would not deny facing a lot of challenges though; and I'm thankful that we were able to settle whatever misunderstanding we encounter.

So anyhow, I was invited by the BlueWater Day Spa to their event where they launch a new campaign, "Search for A Baby Image Model" held at Chili's Greenhills, you may visit my mommy blog, here and read the mechanics.

Right after the launch, we decided to spent the afternoon with a relaxing message. Hubby arrived at Chili's and accompanied us to the spa which is just few blocks away from the restaurant.

J told me that the spa still looks the same two years ago, when he was invited for the grand launch. Still, it looks like a newly opened spa. The restroom is clean even the lounge area. The walls paint and the ceiling still looks new.

He stayed at the waiting area but later was invited to watch a film inside the BlueWater Day Spa’s Theater
Meanwhile, Tina and I were ready for the pampering treat. I started with a warm bath followed with a 20 minutes traditional heat therapy, sauna.

The shower rooms/locker room is well-organized, toilets look and smell clean. There's a set of body lotion, oil, hair dryer and hair brush. They provided a rubber slipper, clean towel and a robe inside the locker room. Just before the massage, a friendly staff offered a cup of hot tea.

The next thing, we're lying prone position at the massage room which can accommodate 7 persons. You may also get a room for two with restroom with a minimal fee. We were lucky that we're the only one occupying the room. Juvy, my therapist started to draped my back and gently stretched my extremities. The whole body massage lasted about an hour. My therapist did a good job, putting mild to moderate pressure. The pain on my left arm was gone even on my feet and legs. I was able to relax the whole treatment. I even fell asleep a few minutes which seldom happens. After the Swedish massage, again they offer a cup of tea.
