It was my second Christmas Bloggers' Party with Max's family and in two years, I can't count how many times we've shared stories, laughter with fellow bloggers and the Max's team over good food. Max's family has been very good, accommodating and really friendly to all of us. I'm always excited every time we receive invite for a product launch or a new endorser to meet simply because I felt being part of the family, just like when you're in a new place and you feel like it's your home.

Last year, we had a sumptuous dinner at one of their branches in Makati, followed by a karaoke night then gift giving and raffle prizes. I got a new flat iron which I kept in case the old one retire and a box of assorted sweets from Max's Corner Bakery.

This year, as much as we wanted to make Christmas more festive with the usual gift giving, games and surprises even with too much effort we can't... The recent calamities such as the massive effect brought by typhoon Yolanda was so devastating and heart broken. Many people died, children suffered and lost their parents and guardians. Mostly left homeless. There were efforts made to help them, fund raising and volunteerism.

I'm glad that Max's Group of Companies launched HOPE #BeStrongPhilippines, a call to share donations thru the Philippine Red Cross. That evening during our 2013 Christmas Party, Max's decided to donate for the victims of the recent calamity.

Max's made us part of this advocacy. We even signed our names in the cheque. :) 

Of course, we're not only the ones treated by Max's, the brand also launched Holiday Treats for Filipino families to enjoy this Holiday season.
