Happy Father's Day to all dads!
To celebrate this special occasion, Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA) has partnered with S&R and Austrade to treat daddies his favourite Australian beef and more. Launched early June and promo ends June 15 just perfect for the Father’s Day month.
How to avail? There are two (2) ways!
- Every purchase of 2 kilos of Australian beef at any S&R branch until June 15 entitles customers to draw from a lot and bring home any one of the following prizes: indoor grill, charbroiled grill, food thong, Australian Red Wine or recipe booklet.
- From June 14 to 30, diners at Cyma, Allium and Madison’s Bistro Moderne who will order any entree made with Australian beef can get a special Father’s Day mug.
A Pre-Luncheon Father's Day Treat at Stella
MLA in partnership with Meltique and S&R Membership Shopping prepared a pre-luncheon Father's Day Treat at Stella in Boni High Street Central. They prepared a 4-course meal with Australian beef. Here's what we had.
For a start, we had Alder Chip Smoked Australian Beef Tartare with Burnt Leeks and Shaved Pecorino.
Next was delicious Grilled Australian Striploin with Bukidnon Organic Greens, Quinoa and Pickled Watermelon Radish with Honey Lime Vinaigrette. Australian beef was tender and goes well with the salad dressing. The organic salad was fresh and crunchy. Looks like easy to prepare, anyone can make this at home.
Australian Beef has high-quality protein, essential amino acids, rich, flavorful and meat-tender. For main entree, we had Herb Crusted Wood-fired Australian Cube Roll with Roasted Bone Marrow Potato Puree and Heirloom vegetables. I though of a glass of Bordeaux to pair this juicy, tasty beef.

For sweet endings, we had French Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee, Lemon Lime Sorbet and Spiced Chocolates. Champagne pls!
