Started in 1993 BLACK CANYON COFFEE grown and developed into Thailand’s largest chain of coffee houses with more than 200 stores in Thailand, 40 branches abroad and now opens its first store in the Philippines located at SM Southmall, Las Pinas City.
Together with a group of bloggers, we were invited to attend its Grand Opening in the South. Present in the grand launch his Honorable Mark Villar, Congressman of Las Pinas, Mr. James Dy, Chairman of the Board, Royal Thai Food Philippines Inc. The newly opened store is very casual yet inviting. They have several tables and chairs and can accommodate up to 90 customers. You can easily find the store’s best-sellers which are displayed on their wall decors.

BCC menu features not just specialty coffee, they also serve specially imported chocolate, Matcha green tea, traditional Thai tea, as well as a variety of fruit juices and frit smoothies.

The food are cooked by experienced and skillful chefs while specialty coffees and drinks are prepared by their well-trained barista.
Black Canyon’s Iced Coffee, Lemon Iced Tea and Thai Iced Tea
I personally like the Thai Iced Tea, while the BC Iced Coffee and Lemon Iced Tea are just ordinary for me. I tried a signature drink which is the Black Canyon Coffee Frappe (P120) served in a cute, fat glass topped with crushed ice. It has the strong coffee flavor which I always find in a coffee frappe.

They offer a complete range of healthy Thai and International food. We’ve got to try a generous serving of the Tuna Green Curry Fried Rice Wrapped in Egg sheet (P156). The dish is a little hot, spicy and flavorful.

In addition, we find such unique fusion dishes such as the spaghetti with chicken green curry or Carrot Som Tam. Black Canyon Coffee also features Western dishes such as soups, salads, pasta and steaks, all at a competitive price.
Orange Almond Loaf, Blueberry Cheesecake, Oreo Cheesecake, Strawberry Shortcake, Red Velvet or Classic Chocolate Cake are also available.
