How long do I need to wait before my fiancé agrees to have a new dining table?
Instead of investing most on clothes, shoes and bags I prefer to buy stuff for my house. Until now my huge wooden cabinet which I purchased after graduation still looks good and new.
How about bed? I’m comfortable with my white wooden bed, I simply love it because it looks amazing in any wall paints and room decoration. Yet, there’s missing and I’m dying to have it soon!
GUS Richmond Bi-Sectional Sofa
No, it’s not the sofa although I want one but there’s something else I need!
One of the things I did when I moved in Manila is to visit furniture shops and look for a nice dining table. Honestly, I want a dining table that will last a lifetime. I even want a six-seater dining table.
GUS Exhibit in Greenbelt 2
With my search for the right one, I came to a furniture exhibit in Greenbelt 2, Makati. It’s the GUS Studio Manila, a modern furniture company based in Canada. They design and manufacture upholstered seating, accents, and accessories which comprise the Gus* Modern Collection.
Some of their products are sofas, sectionals, ottomans, dining tables and chairs, lighting, accessories, storage units and accent tables.

I immediately fell in love with the GUS Plank Table and Bench! It’s a modern table and nestled bench that features a warm, walnut grain finish. It’s made up of solid wood! Its simplicity gives us the freedom to add accent like nice table cloth or placemat designed for different occasion.

With so much space for seating, I am thinking of adding benches which I can buy on the store or custom made. My imagination still plays, I like to put a furry throws at the long bench, isn’t it perfect!
You think I’m done with the tables? No, I still need another one, a side table that complements on my white wooden bed. Sometimes bedroom turns into a working station especially during the wee hours when I have to finish a writing project.
GUS Bishop Table
The GUS Bishop Table (above) is a wood veneer or lacquer top with a stainless steel base so I don’t have to worry with the stability even if I put weight on it although I frequently use a netbook it wouldn’t be a problem. I can also bring the Bishop table in the living room since it’s also designed to be nested with many sofas and ottomans, very versatile!
I finally found the dining table that fits my need and personality but I know how expensive GUS dining tables are, so now is the good time to get some GUS products.
