Kipling & World Vision: A Brighter Christmas For A Brighter Tomorrow

Kipling_Creating a brighter Christmas_Photo 5Ladies, I know how much you have passion over bags. Even I feel the same way too! In fact every out of the country visits I see to it to bring home a new bag whether bought in the night market or premium outlets, branded or not. I just realized if we love to collect bags and shoes, why don’t we share this passion and love  with the needy, the underprivileged children? How do you start? Start here!

Recently, I attended an event called “A Brighter Christmas For A Brighter Tomorrow”. The event was hosted by World Vision advocate, Ms. Miriam Quiambao. Kipling, a Belgian bag brand known for its high quality products partners with World Vision, a program that aims to provide additional funds for the education of children under the care of the world renowned Christian development and advocacy organization to make children happy this season of giving.

I’m excited to share to you this news since I’ve been supporting this advocacy for almost a year now. We can share in giving children a brighter tomorrow by shopping for a cause.  For every Kipling bag or luggage purchased from December 1 to 31, 2012, Kipling will donate Php 500 to World Vision.

World Vision Sponsorship

How much do we spent over a cup of brewed coffee or cappuccino every week? With a slice of cheesecake, with your weekly spa and beauty regimen? Riding a cab when you can just take a jeep or bus or walk. Those were just a couple of questions I asked myself before I became a sponsor.

As a child sponsor, your monthly sponsorship gift of P600 will provide one special child with life-changing basics like nutritious food, clean water, education, healthcare and spiritual nurture.

WorldVisionKidLet me share to you the joy of sharing my blessings to a less privileged child. Last January, a big changed happened to my life. At the midst of this life changes, someone offered me to sponsor a child. I was a bit hesitant since I’m also into some financial difficulties for almost three years now but the Lord touched my heart and allowed me to become his instrument of love. Without any reason, I was requesting to have a young boy but unintentionally World Vision handed  me a profile of a beautiful young girl named MARIJOY from Cebu. She just started going to school. A  long way to go before she finished her studies. Few months later I received a letter from her thanking me as her sponsor. Then another letter came attached her recent photo and telling me that she already gained weight and that she’s doing good at school. Just few weeks ago, my very first Christmas Card arrived and it came from her. The happiness is just unexplainable. The joy of giving is overflowing and I could not deny the countless blessings that I received this year.
