Sofitel Manila Oktoberfest 2013

It was a wonderful Oktoberfest held in Sofitel Manila. I was wrong when I thought Oktoberfest is just for people who can consume liters of beer. Who says that the beer festival are not us - occasional drinkers or those who don't drink at all? I realized the celebration is for everyone, for people who simply wants to enjoy life. Of course it would be great if you'll partake with the overflowing San Miguel Beer.

On October 18 and 19, Sofitel celebrated 75th Oktoberbest at Harbour Garden Tent. The festivity was attended by thousands of foreign and local guests including celebrities.

The celebration started with performances from the Bavarian Sound Express who came all the way from Munich and it was then followed by tapping of the barrel, which signals the official start of Oktoberfest.

The venue was decorated with colors white and blue! 

Why you should not miss next year's Oktoberfest at Sofitel Manila?

They got overflowing San Miguel beer!

Good food! The spread of great Bavarian cuisine including a wide range of sausages.

Long Apple Strudel

Dance to good music and live band performances! Aside from Bavarian Sound Express, Bloomfileds rock the stage with their retro 60s music. It was also a great bonding time with my husband - in a dance floor!
