MarJonel Wedding to our Honeymoon Destination

I could not express how grateful I am for the year that passed. Allow me to share some of the highlight in my life this 2013. Of course, the major life changes was starting a new life with my husband.

We started celebrating the New Year (2013) with my side of the family and relatives in Bulacan. We came from different culture, mine is a Filipino family tradition while he came from

By the end of January, Jonel and I were quite busy yet excited for the upcoming wedding, the #MarJonel wedding.

But most important is accepting our Savior. It was the start of a brand new life with Jesus, as my Lord & Savior. It may not be as grand & big as my wedding, the ceremony was simple yet meaningful. It was a beautiful opportunity to share my feelings and testimony even in small group of people who also have the same faith in Christ. I went on professing my faith through Christian Baptism led by Pastor Sebs.

Finally, the day we've been waiting for has come. It was a lovely sunny day of February 10.

It was one of the great decisions I made in my life.

My make-up artists did an amazing job concealing the eye-bugs. Ah, I'll tell you why I had eye-bugs. I did not get a good night sleep after a bad experience at the econotel just before midnight mom, sister and I had to transferred to a nearby accommodation.

Then we went straight to Sofitel Philippine Plaza for our day 1 honeymoon before we flew to Hong Kong and Macau.

We talked about our family, we will be thankful with one child but we also welcome another one and another one, haha!

On May, we had our Christian Housewarming Ceremony led by Pastor Sebs. We eagerly showed our home to all our guests. We feast with Max's Fried Chicken and other Max's signature dishes.

I went to Camiguin.

That same month, I was invited to visit Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. The trip was so special when I conquer my fear underwater and experienced Helmet Diving (for the first time and husband wasn't there) at Borneo Reef World!

What a wonderful experience to see God's creation - the nature, the fishes and corals.

At Mari-Mari Cultural Village, I had my very first tattoo.

On June we were in Puerto Princesa, ate fresh seafood and enjoyed island hopping.

It was my first time in Puerto Princesa while hubby's first time to fly after his eye operation. He was advised not to go high places and ride an airplane for more than two months after the treatment.

July, we're back at my favorite beach, Boracay! It's been two consecutive years of celebrating my birthday in the island.

November,  for the nth time we went to Spiral few days before our 9th month Anniversary, as expected it was a food coma!

Followed with a romantic dinner at Sunset Bar, two weeks after. We can't forget the melt-in-your-mouth bibingka!

Still in November, we braved the traffic and holiday season going to Divisoria for our first Christmas tree. We bought a white Christmas tree. :)

On Christmas eve, we watched the CandleLighting Ceremony, my first time to attend a very solemn and heart-warming Christmas eve celebration.

We follow what the old saying that new couples should stay at home on their first Christmas eve and New Year's eve, so here we are!

Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year from us to your families! I will pray for happiness and another year of great memories. Cheers to 2014!
