Pinoy Adobo Prepared by Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian

Few weeks ago, we met one of the greatest culinary icon of all times, Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian. He came to the country to prepare a one-of-a-kind five course meal set in a dinner gala held at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza called “Feast of Colours”. It's a benefit dinner for the Philippine Disaster Recovery Foundation.

The highlight of the meal was a dish, we Filipinos are very familiar, adobo. However, Chef Zakarian prepared it using carefully selected ingredients not frequently found in our version of adobo. He also experimented on different vinegar and used his world-class style of cooking thus Adobo Spiced Pork Belly was created.
