Glamorous, Opulent & Luxurious: An Interior Design Exhibit by PSID

The Philippine School of Interior Design holds a special exhibit to celebrate its 50th anniversary. With the theme Glamorous, Opulent, Luxurious Designs curated by 72 graduating students, the alumni and the faculty who come together to create 3 galleries of 24 excellently designed interiors.

PSID Celebrates 50th Anniversary

PSID celebrates its golden anniversary thus all the galleries used 'gold' to showcase their designs. Watch the video and listen to our conversation with the students and faculty members who participated in this event. I hope you will also enjoy browsing each photos taken from my favorite booths.

One of my favorite galleries is the Moroccan Oasis bedroom. It depicts my idea of a personal retreat every night. The beautiful and luxury Moroccan chair and bedroom and the center table at the back from the Habitat Philippines. The lights can be adjusted according to your liking. Best of all the, the golden arch and intricate design of the ceiling makes it more elegant and stylish.

Another favorite is the modern Egyptian toilet and bathroom. I only see Egyptian designs in movies and magazines. It's very striking and eye-catching to see a beautiful and contemporary Egyptian toilet and bath.

What's great about this exhibition is that all the materials and furniture used are available in the local market. So it's not an impossible to dream and create one in our own spaces. PSID “GOLD: Glamorous, Opulent, and Luxurious Designs” graduation exhibit will run from October 1-31 at Uptown Bonifacio Mall in Bonifacio Global City. Admission is free.
