Fun Afternoon with Friends at SM Hypermarket Street Food Fest

It's been a while since the last time I hosted a get together with some of the readers of this blog. Five years ago, we enjoyed an afternoon over pizza, pasta; played games and distributed giveaways. It was an amazing day as I celebrated LivingMarjorney's 5th year anniversary and the launch of its new name, Woman in Digital (don't be confused, it's the same url.)

About two weeks ago, I thought of inviting twelve readers to join me at the SM Hypermarket Street Food festival and hosted a quick giveaway, read more about it here.

Compared to the first Woman in Digital get-together which is intimate, this one was very casual set in a public place. :)

I was surprised that most of my guests are moms. They even brought their little ones to join us, they are all adorable. Met my new friends Jhane, Geraldine, Cris, and Jonalyn. My sister Tina (she is also a blogger, you can follow here at MrsCloverleaf) also joined us, of course the husband was there to assist me.

This is my 3rd year joining the SM Hypermarket Street Food Festival, still it's fun and enjoyable. Entrance is free, they just have to register and they will receive a passport which they can use to collect stamps, buy a participating product and take home freebies like mugs and umbrellas.

SM Hypermarket Street Food Fest also invited chef Boy Logro, Chef Jose Sarasola, Kaladkaren Davila, Johann Ludovica, and Daniel Matsunaga. Early morning show, "Umagang Kay Ganda" was also there during the opening of street food festival 2018.

Moving on to my our favorite street foods, we had refreshing fresh buko and melon juices. My guests were all treated to some of the best Pinoy Street Food such as barbeque, kwek-kwek, the famous and pambansang meryenda turon, ginataang halo-halo, burgers, Vigan empanada, puto and chicharon.

They also received simple gifts from me.

My dear friend Bedalyn and daughter also came to join us.

My sister and I did a little grocery shopping before leaving the venue. I bought the new Magnolia 3-way chicken for only Php199 per pack which comes with free four brown eggs.

Overall, it was a tummy-filled, fun afternoon with my blog readers turned friends. I really appreciate their time to come and join this simple gathering. I promise that this will not be the last. I hope to see you in our future get together. Again, thank you for supporting Woman in Digital. Until next SM Hypermarket Street Food Festival
