Tiger Sugar Milk Tea Opens in Manila

My husband and I love milk tea. After church service, it's one of our favorite hang out. He likes the chewy pearl (sago) while I am fine just with the milk tea itself. He loves chai or green tea, I go for the black teas like oolong and ear grey. My husband and I met in a milk tea shop sometime in 2011 that's why milk tea is special for us.

Last November, we tried Taiwanese milk teas from different shops in Taipei. We even got a hotel room where they offer unlimited milk tea all day. Awesome! Unfortunately, we did not found one of the famous milk teas in Taiwan - Tiger Milk Tea so we were excited when we found out Tiger Milk Tea opens its first store in the country.

I had Brown Sugar Pearl Milk with Cream Mousse (P120) which tastes really good. It's creamy and rich, made with homemade dark brown sugar and pearl. The pearl is chewy and soft just the way I like it. Unlike other milk tea brands, Tiger Sugar uses fresh milk instead of creamer that's why it became an instant favorite.

Tiger Sugar also offers Brown Sugar Tea Latte, next time I will try the Green Tea Latte with Cream Mousse.

Before Tiger Sugar came to be, the owners first opened San Yuan classic green bean soup. This allowed them to study the improvements and advancements of beverage goods.
