My day starts at six in the morning. I do a quick stretching and change my sleepwear  "pantulog" to day clothes. Warm water with lemon while reading my devotions at 7am. Then I go out and tend to my plants before breakfast. By eight, I'm already reading mails and check on my socials for important messages. Around nine, I already took a bath and put a light makeup on. 

Light makeup during virtual conferences

Ever since this pandemic started, we are confined in the four corners of our home. I'm glad that slowly things are going back to usual. There's a lot of work to do. As a licensed Financial Advisor, I reach out with my clients on messenger or do video conferences for presentations. Having said that, I need to be presentable and always ready for stat video calls and meetings.

Foundation or Face Powder:

Sometimes I apply foundation, other days just a regular day cream with SPF. I choose light foundations that's not greasy. At the moment, I'm using Coverture MP Unlimited Mineral Foundation together with Coverture MP Hydra Soothing Essence. (No. 20804).

Blush

I like cream and cheek tints than the powdered ones. They are easy to apply and last longer. I have this blush-on stick stick which I carry every time I go out. It's from Happy Skin.

Eyeliner

Eyeliner makes eyes looks bigger. Although I'm not a fan of eyeliners, I just apply whenever I attend big events and parties.

Microblade Pen Perfector, Brow Painter and Brow Sculptor Duo

The Microblade Pen Perfector fills and define brow arch, extend the tails and adds depth to sparse areas. It gives your brow a nice definition as if you had a brow microblading procedure. I'm afraid of knife, blade and not yet ready for this procedure. Thanks to this microblade pen perfector, I can do my eyebrows easily.

Next is the Brow Painter. It's a waterproof, smudge-proof and long-wearing brow shading pen that fills in and defines natural-looking brows.

Brow Colorist and Brow Fixer

Brow Sculptor Duo is my favorite. It's a waterproof microfine brow pencil that has the benefits of a powder, pencil and wax to effortlessly fill brows. It also comes with a brush so you don't need extra brush to create a natural look.

The Brow Colorist gives you fuller brows without looking too precise or overdone. While the Brow Fixer (another favorite) gives a strongly hold and shaping brow hairs in place!

At the end of the day, I make sure to clean my face and use a gentle makeup remover before washing with mild facial cleanser. My evening skin care routine is definitely a must. This time, I do gua-sha facial at least twice a week. Maybe I'll share this traditional Eastern Asian practice on a separate post.
