On June 29 and 30, Electrolux Philippines finally revealed this year’s Wok-a-holic Kitchen Star contenders in a two-day boot camp held at Waltermart Munoz, North EDSA. The event became more exciting as Electrolux revealed their official Wok-a-holic Blogger Partners who will help them campaign for the People’s Choice Award.
My love for cooking started many years ago when I’m still learning how to make delicious pancakes! It wasn’t easy coz I’m not using ready-mix pancake. I still remember a time when my brother saw me crying as I look at my creation, a product of experiment. It was a turning point! With that, at a young age I started to love the kitchen! I started collecting recipe materials from supermarkets, newspapers and magazines. I became a member of a kitchen club I don’t need to mention. Recipe clips are precious to me, I treated them like photographs and placed them in a photo album. Today, I can make delicious pancakes and waffles. I love preparing pasta dishes too. At the end of the day, what makes you happy is most important and I’m happy cooking for my loved ones! I ‘m happy to see empty plates. How about you?
Last Friday started the Electrolux Wok-A-Holic Boot Camp. It’s a two-day learning session for contestants to learn some techniques in the kitchen before the actual cooking showdown which will happen this coming Saturday and Sunday, July 7 and 8.

That day, I got to meet my Wok-A-Holic Kitchen Star partner, Ms. Christina Castro from Taguig. She’s an OFW, a housewife and a mother of two. She’s a graduate of Journalism and used to work as a call center officer. She joined Electrolux Kitchen Star to improve her cooking skills and learn from the experts.
“Winning the kitchen showcase is a bonus” said Christina Castro. “The appliances showcase will fill my empty kitchen and the scholarship from CCA is a huge step for me in the culinary world.” she added

Aside from the title Wok-A-Holic Kitchen Star, Electrolux will also declare one winner for the People’s Choice Award that is why I am helping Christina gather votes and I need your help.
