Moonleaf Tea Shop, The Columns Tower

Milk tea stores are becoming a  favorite hang out of lovers, groups and even families. As a milk tea lover, I try different brands within the Metro to compare the taste, creaminess and the texture of their add-ons. There are quite a number offering good and delicious milk teas while others are just okay. But another thing I look into milk tea store is how they prepare our food properly.

On July 5, Moonleaf tea, one of the famous milk tea brands with its Makati branch celebrated their 1st year anniversary. Dubbed "Moonleaf Beats", an acoustic evening with special performances by Ebe Dancel, a former vocalist of the band Sugarfree; other artists like Ai dela Cruz and Lm Cancio. Ebe Dancel serenaded the crowd with hits including “Tulog Na".

Apart from the live band, photo booth, customers received a special surprise treats. Moonleaf offered discounted tea drinks, free add-ons like tapioca pearls, nata, pudding and eco-friendly planners for free!

Still suffering from cough and colds I had light and refreshing Honey Aloe Vera and the second cup was Passionfruit Yakult paired with chicken turnover.

Moonleaf started along Magiting Street, UP Teacher’s Village in Diliman, Quezon City. Now it has several branches such as Makati branch who serves hundreds of milk tea aficionados within the area.
