Woman In Digital: Monday Makeup Review: Happy Skin Active

Packing for a trip could be challenging, especially if you are traveling in winter. Some important things you should never forget includes a set of thermal clothes, winter coats or jackets, winter shoes if possible. I make sure to bring my beauty arsenal - skin care and makeup sets.

Happy Skin Active Makeup Collection

Must-haves in my makeup arsenal when traveling includes two shades of lipsticks, foundation, concealer, lip balm, mascara, and eyeliner. Not to forget the skin care. I have to bring a facial cleanser, sometimes a makeup remover, toner, moisturizer, and mask sheets.

During my trip to Hokkaido, I brought the newest makeup collection from Happy Skin, the Happy Skin Active by Kathryn Bernardo.

First thing I noticed when I applied the Happy Skin Active lipstick is the buttery with minty flavor. It's rich and provides intense moisture to my lips, perfect for the cold weather in Hokkaido. With its intense moisture I don't even have to use a lip balm. Moreover, it has SPF 15 which protect our skin/lips from sun damage.

Between the two shades (photo above), I like the Fierce with reddish shade. It gives an instant glow onto my skin even without wearing blush-on. I also love the brown shade in Bliss for occasions that I don't need intense, darker lip color.
