5 ways to stay positive in a negative world

We live in an imperfect world. What I learned instead of letting a problem continue to escalate, is doing the best to make peace. If that person is in the same room you're working, one of the things we could do is to talk to her privately and approach him or her with humility. Of course, every efforts should come with prayers. If you're in a public place and bumped to a negative person let say inside the train, it would also be great to stay away from him or her. Show understanding and love.

Here's 5 ways to stay positive in a negative world to maintain a harmonious relationship.

Woman In Digital Empowering Women

1. Dress and Posture

Maintain proper posture especially when sitting and working on your laptop. Dress well because it communicates a positive attitude. When there's a need for confrontation, always maintain your composure. Smile and look at the brighter side.

Dress well, apply light makeup to add glow on your face. For office outfits ideas, wear comfy and not too tight clothes. I love shopping at SM Woman. They have a wide range of fashionable yet affordable women's clothing. From skirts with stylish cut or plain black below the knee skirts with lace lining, also formal blazers. Sizes are not to be worried, SM Woman caters from small to XL sizes. I usually get the small to medium sizes. For Php 500 you'll get a semi-formal top or skirts for everyday office lookOxygen's black and white clothing are perfect for office look.

2.  Nourish the body and soul

Hydrate! At least 8 glasses of water everyday to maintain a glowing skin. Do not skip meals and have something ready to eat like sandwich.

It's also important to nourish your soul through meditation and prayer. Set a specific time to feed your soul.

3. Color yourself #happy

If you're working on your desktop or laptop then it's a must to apply sunscreen with SPF 50 paraben-free, non-comedogenic. I've been using Belo Sunscreen Tinted Sunscreen with tone adapt technology. Since it's tinted, I don't have to apply a separate BB cream. It keeps me away from using additional facial creams.

4. Smile, smile and be generous in giving complements

Nothing can beat a genuine smile. Surely, it will brighten one's cloudy day.

5. Be grateful

Complement by saying to your office mate or even the lady operating the elevator she looks good today. Greet everyone "good morning". Who knows those people who wronged you will notice your pure heart.

What to buy at Althea Korea
Korean products bought Althea online shop
I just received my 2nd pink box from Althea. This Korean online shop just turned 1! Oh, happy birthday to us, Althea Korea. Customers enjoyed lots of freebies and discounts on makeup and skin care products.

I started using a new facial toner, Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Toner which I ordered online at Althea Korea.

Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Toner comes in a plastic, transparent brown bottle. The liquid toner comes in a clear to very light brown with powder. The Jeju Volcanic clay is made of minerals from Jeju. It is said to be effective in removing sebum and other impurities. The powder settles beneath so you need to shake it each time you will use the toner. I've been using InnisFree Jeju Volcanic Pore Toner for almost three weeks now. Initially, I had breakouts, pimples on my forehead I thought it's just normal since I'm using a new product. I did not stop and observe if it will worsen. I'm glad it did not and I'm happy with Innisfree. I like how it works on my skin, more fairer and smaller pores. I think using Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Facial Scrub also improves skin tone. The toner is recommended to use twice a day, morning and evening. I also like its mild scent, even hubby likes the scent.

Review of Skin Food Choco Eyebrow Powder Cake

Imagine the scent of aroma of cacao? Of course many of us loves the smell of chocolate. Second to coffee, hot chocolate has been my favorite morning drink especially during rainy days.

The compact comes with two eyebrow shades - light and dark brown for blending. It comes with a small eyebrow brush complete with mirror so you use it anytime there's a need to retouch. The cacao from chocolate protects eyebrows.

Skin Food Choco Eyebrow Powder Cake creates a beautifully natural brow. This eyebrow powder cake is very small and handy. I bring it along with a lip color on evening events and cocktails where I usually just carry a fancy purse.
