Teddy's Bigger Burgers Opens in Manila

You don't have to fly to Honolulu to try the famous Teddy's bigger burgers. Folks, Teddy's burgers is now available in Manila. The first branch located at Greenbelt 3 is opening its doors starting today, August 23 and they are all set to give away a lot of burgers. 

For starters, here's the basic of what bigger burger is. 

It's a casual burger house, not too big nor too small. Originating from Hawaii, it's not a surprise to see skateboards as a decoration.

The sneak peek prepared to us was graced by Hawaiian based Ted Tsakiris and Rich Stula, the brilliant men behind Teddy's bigger burgers.

How to order? It's easy as 1-2-3. Choose your burger: big, bigger or biggest. Choose your toppings and sauce. Add fries and sides. 

You can choose your sauce from buffalo sauce, Loco Moco Gravy, Teri, Barbeque sauce, Kilauea Fire Sauce and Teddy's Special sauce. 

Choice of toppings includes grilled Onions, grilled pineapples, cheese, jalapenos, peanut butter, avocado, mushroom, Bleu cheese, bacon, onion rings and spud. For the cheese, you have option for Cheddar, American, Swiss and Pepperjack.

Teddy's 5 oz cheeseburger

I ordered just the basic Teddy's 5 oz cheeseburger combo with huge o-rings (onion rings). At first look, I knew I cannot finish the whole thing, it's just big for my small appetite yet it's great for sharing. It has Swiss cheese, lettuce, grilled onions and tomatoes and Teddy's special sauce in potato bun. They made it "medium" so it's moist and juicy. The burger was dripping with flavors. It's best eaten hot, holding the sides with both index and thumb fingers while supporting the entire burger (especially the patties) with your ring and smallest fingers. I hope you imagine what I'm saying, lol! However, you can still enjoy your big burger anyway you want. I used fork and knife though.

Then came the killer strawberry peanut butter shake that's sooo delicious! Well, it only has 5 scoops of ice cream in every shake so I would say it's the best shake I ever had. Instantly, it became a favorite. I was holding myself to get another shake but I give in so my second glass was chocolate and coffee shake, not bad at all but I still prefer strawberry with peanut butter. I was delighted that hubby isn't a fan of peanut butter. Hooray!

Teddy's Original Burger Hawaiian Style

Hubby had Teddy's Original Burger Hawaiian Style. It has grilled pineapple paradise with teri sauce, lettuce, grilled onions and tomatoes. The combo meal comes with tasty extra thick crispy fries.
