Valentine's Day Look Wearing Althea Makeup

Valentine's Day is just around the corner. I'm pretty sure you're already preparing to make this special day memorable with spouse or boyfriend. February is extra special for me, it's our wedding anniversary.

Finally, I can share with you my latest haul from Althea Korea. The pink box arrived about two weeks ago and it contains a BCL x Althea Sunrise Moonrise Eyeshadow Palette, four shades of Althea Watercolor Cream Tint, four different shades of Althea Creamy Concealer, and Althea Skin Relief.


BCL x Althea Sunrise Moonrise Eyeshadow Palette

This Sunrise and Moonrise Eyeshadow Palette was created in collaboration with Bunga Citra Lestari, a famous Indonesian singer, actress and fashion icon. The palette has eight lovely shades which five are bold colors you can play to come up with the look you want day or night.

BCL x Althea Sunrise Moonrise Eyeshadow Palette

I tried four shades attending a day event. The light brown is the base color and light pink for the upper lashline. I love the lightly glittered peach shade which I use for highlighting and the old rose for outer v line.

Don't be afraid to use the eyeshadow, try to experiment and come up with the look you want.

Althea Sunrise Moonrise Eyeshadow Palette is easy to apply, you need is just a little amount of eye shadow for a light day makeup look. The shades - dark pink, glossy light pink, and glittered old rose are my favorites. The one on the left upper palette is great as highlighter which will make your eyes look bolder.

Althea Flawless Cream Concealer


I got four shades of Althea Flawless Cream Concealer, I use the darkest shade which is #04 for my morena complexion.

This Althea Cream Concealer helps cover blemishes and brightens dark areas around the eyes. It's non-greasy and not cakey. Althea Flawless Cream Concealer is available in four shades - vanilla, ginger, honey and mocha and retails at Php200 each.


Althea Watercolor Cream tint

I can go out without foundation, eye shadow but not with lipstick. My favorite lipstick shades are the red, orange and brown shades. One thing I look when choosing the right lipstick is how long it could last. Women always look for long lasting lipstick, one that we can wear for more than two hours even after drinking coffee or eating meals.

Althea Watercolor Cream tint

I love that Althea Watercolor Cream tint can last few hours even after having coffee. It is creamy and rich so easy to glide on the lips, you don't have to apply frequently. I wore #3 Peach Cream, it has a bold red lip color.

Althea Watercolor Cream tint is available in 4 shades and retails at Php260 each.

#4 marron cream

Here's a tip, in case you forgot to bring a blush-on, you can use the Althea Watercolor Cream Tint instead. Use few dots and gently spread on your cheeks.

To ensure your makeup looks great, establish proper skin care routine. My makeup prep includes using toner and moisturizer. Currently, I'm using Althea Primer Water and Fixer Cream moisturizer. It's also good to use a primer before applying makeup foundation. You can get them at Althea Korea.
